This site was created by The Bat to promote the idea of real super heroes. That's right, real people dressing in spandex, making gadets and gizmos, wearing masks, SUPER HEROES! Why would The Bat support such a thing? It's simple really...

The Bat grew up reading comic books all through her youth. Seeing nearly every comic book movie ever made, collecting a few hundred comic books, and wanting to become a comic book artist just wasn't enough for our girl (which would be me, The Bat). I have decided that I want to be a super hero. I don't have super powers, I don't have a lot of gadgets, but I have the spirit. As of April 2003, I have not made my presense known, but as soon as my location becomes more permanent, I will!
