Dealing With The Media

At some point, the media is going to want to know more about you. It's inevitable. So what do you do now? Do you hold a press conference where there will be some cops around? They might try to arrest you for vigilantism. Do you hog tie a reporter and drag them to your hideout? That'd be kidnapping. I know. You make your own press kit.

A press kit is what production companies or agents send out to the media. It gives out as much information as you want it to. You could easily write up a small bio or just a single sentance that states something about you. Usually, there is a photo or two included. This is entirely up to you. There's usually contact information, but this needs to be well thought out. Do you want to pretend that your regular identity knows your superhero identity? You know, have people call you at home? NO! You'll end up getting yourself kidnapped and your secret identity will be revealed. You may want to use a Hamm radio or something of similar means.

Also, keep in mind that if you save someone in a public setting, the press may start to gather around. The press moves in herds. Seriously. The larger or more populated the area, if something goes down, the press will swarm. You'll want to leave fairly quickly, unless you want all the press.
